Girls and Bullying
Girls are a “little mean” to a classmate; emails are sent to other girls to ignore her and keep her out of group activities; the ostracized girl becomes depressed; her grades begin to fall . . .

The Jewish Women’s Foundation of Greater Pittsburgh was founded in 2000 to create lasting social change in the lives of women and girls in the Jewish and general communities. We offer trustees the opportunity to participate in the strategic direction and distribution of the JWF”s grantmaking. Through our donors’ collective input, experience and leadership, we fund innovative programs to address the unmet needs of women and girls in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County and Israel. The Foundation carries out its mission by making strategic grants on a yearly basis.
